Overnight grain futures were mostly down less than 1%, with Chicago December wheat down 5.25 cents to 567.75 cents per bushel and Kansas wheat down 4.75 cents. Soybeans November rose 6.75 cents to 1075.5 cents, and Russian wheat harvest was 38% complete with yields down 8% year on year.
Lower Russian yields and slower harvest progress provide modest support to wheat, while soybeans firming reflects steady demand for soymeal.
