Ukrainian sunflower meal exports in June reached a record for the month at 412,000 tonnes, with China rising to 214,000 tonnes. Export prices fell 16-18% during the month to $190-195/t, and processing is expected to decline in July and August.
Expected falling crush volumes in July and August could tighten meal supply and support prices, while the EU duty on Russian and Belarusian meal may add demand for Ukrainian product.
