Russia's export duty on sunflower meal will rise from 901.3 rubles per tonne in July to about 1,870 rubles in August, more than doubling. The duty on sunflower oil stays at zero for a fifteenth straight month.
A higher Russian export duty makes Russian meal less competitive on world markets, which should support demand for Ukrainian and other origin sunflower meal and firm prices.
