Edible oil demand in Indore rose sharply on Saturday for soybean refined oil, which traded at Rs 1,415 to 1,420 per 10 kg. Mustard seed fell Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,800 to 8,900.
Soybean was quoted at Rs 7,000 to 7,100 per quintal and palm oil at Rs 1,475 to 1,480 per 10 kg.
Stronger local demand for soybean refined oil supports soybean oil values in India. The change is local and short-term, with little effect on global prices.
