The DTN average spot price for domestic distillers dried grains fell $7 to $183 per short ton for the week ended Oct. 29, with DDG down $14 for the month.
Cash corn fell 46 cents per bushel in October and soybean meal dropped $24 per short ton, while Midwest ethanol output rose slightly week on week.
Lower corn and soybean meal prices pulled DDG values down, which eases costs for feed buyers who substitute DDGS for corn and meal.
