APK-Inform reports that new-crop sunflower seed prices in Ukraine are rising, with the preliminary level at UAH 18,500-20,000/t CPT and possible increases to UAH 22,000-23,000. The agency cut its 2024 Ukrainian sunflower production forecast to 14.2 million tonnes after heat damage.
Expected higher seed prices and a smaller crop point to firmer sunflower meal and oil costs for feed buyers.
