Ridley Corporation reported higher FY24 earnings and announced the purchase of a feedmill in Carrick, Tasmania, from Pure Foods Eggs for $6.5 million. The company plans to lift output there from one shift to three and is building a new ingredient-recovery facility at Timaru, New Zealand.
The expansion adds local feed milling capacity in Tasmania, a company-level development with little direct effect on global feed grain or meal prices.
