The DTN average spot price for domestic DDGs fell $7 to $183 per short ton for the week ended October 29, across 33 locations. Cash corn fell 10 cents per bushel on the week and soybean meal futures dropped $18 per short ton.
Lower corn and soybean meal prices pulled DDG values down, and DDG remains cheaper per unit of protein than soybean meal, supporting its use in rations.
