Central Illinois soybean prices fell to $10.13 per bushel and soybean meal to $339.70 per short ton, both near multi-year lows. Soybean oil rose 4.1% week on week to 42.30 cents per lb, while the crush margin improved to $2.76 per bushel.
Weak soymeal and soybean prices reflect ample supply and reduced crush incentives, which keeps feed protein costs low for buyers. Soyoil strength partly offsets crush economics but does not change the bearish meal outlook.
