Bursa Malaysia crude palm oil futures fell RM69 to close at RM4,616 per tonne on October 29, breaking below the RM4,650 support level. A research house said the technical picture now points to risk of a decline toward RM4,400.
A break of key technical support can trigger further selling by funds and traders, adding downward pressure on palm oil prices. Lower palm values can weigh on competing vegetable oil and meal prices.
