US soybean board crush margins reached new highs, with the VVX margin at $1.62 per bushel and the HHH margin above $1.45. Strength in soyoil and soymeal drove the gains, following strong margins through most of the 2023/24 marketing year.
The crush now accounts for about 54% of total US soybean use.
High crush margins encourage processors to run plants harder, which supports soybean demand and prices. Strong soyoil values also bolster the crush economics.
