Tunisia's Consultative Committee of Mines approved PhosCo's Gassaat exploration permit, giving it 100% ownership including the Chaketma resource of 146Mt at 20.6% P2O5. PhosCo also signed a non-binding MoU with Tunisian authorities and the EBRD on basin development.
This is an early-stage exploration permit with no near-term production, so it has little immediate effect on global phosphate supply or prices.
