DTN's midday update from November 14, 2024 showed sharp declines across grains and soybeans, with December corn down 7 1/4 cents, January soybeans down 17 1/2 cents and wheat down 8 to 11 cents. Pressure came from good South American and US weather, weakening Argentine and Ukrainian corn premiums, and a stronger dollar.
Improving crop weather in South America and weaker export premiums pressure US grain and soybean prices, although strong ethanol and export demand limit the downside.
