Animal protein prices in Australia rose in the week to November 14 on active demand and expectations of lower slaughter ahead of Christmas. Fastmarkets assessed Australian bloodmeal at A$1,175-1,215 per tonne, up from A$1,150-1,200 a week earlier.
Expected lower slaughter and firmer export demand tighten supply of animal proteins, supporting prices, though weaker soybean meal limits the upside.
