USDA's National Weekly Grain Co-Products Report showed Central Illinois soybean meal at a four-year low of $311.40 per short ton in the week to November 15, down 3.9% week on week. Soybean, soybean oil and crush margins also fell over the same period.
Weaker meal, oil and bean prices together cut crush margins, which can slow processing and reduce meal output over time while keeping feed protein cheap for buyers.
