USDA's November WASDE projects US cotton production just under 14.2 million bales, up nearly 18% from the drought-hit 2023 crop. Cotton Incorporated estimates 4.3 million tons of whole cottonseed will be available for feed, about 691,000 tons more than last season.
Larger whole cottonseed supply for dairy and beef feed is expected to push cottonseed prices lower this crop year, easing feed costs for cattle buyers.
