Tula Region officials toured Cherkizovo Group's meat processing cluster under construction in Russia, including a meat rendering plant launched in autumn 2024. The plant, costing about RUB 5 billion, is designed to produce around 45,000 tonnes of meat and bone meal, blood meal and fats a year for the group's feed mills.
New domestic rendering capacity in Russia adds some MBM and fat supply to the local feed market, but the volume is small relative to global trade and unlikely to move prices.
