The U.S. Grains Council weekly DDGS report put the FOB Gulf DDGS-to-soybean-meal spread at $116, up from $109 the prior week. U.S. ethanol output averaged 1.015 million barrels per day, down 84,000 BPD week over week and the lowest since September 2024.
Delivered DDGS prices were $195 per MT in Elwood, IL and $187 per MT at Kansas City rail.
Lower ethanol output reduces DDGS supply, which supports feed prices, while the wider spread to soybean meal makes DDGS relatively more attractive to feed buyers.
