Kazakhstan is almost the only sunflower meal supplier to Iran, shipping 34,000 tonnes in 2024 versus 25,000 tonnes in 2023, according to an analyst speaking at KazOil-2025. China is the main sunflower seed exporter to Iran, and Turkey, UAE and Russia lead sunflower oil supplies.
