Central Illinois soybean crush margin fell 6% week on week to $1.94 per bushel in the week to February 7, down 19% year on year. Soybean meal rose slightly to $310.50 per short ton while soybean oil dropped to 44.40 cents per pound.
A narrowing crush margin reduces processor incentive to crush soybeans, which can tighten meal output and support feed meal prices over time.
