ATIBT says the EU has granted a one-year postponement of the EU Deforestation Regulation. Application now starts 30 December 2025 for large and medium companies and 30 June 2026 for micro and small companies.
The postponement delays compliance costs for timber and forest-product trade. The effect on grain and oilseed prices is minimal.
