Ukrainian sunflower oil demand prices fell $10-15/t to $1,120-1,125/t at Black Sea ports after a 3% drop in palm oil, and sunseed purchase prices dropped 300-500 UAH/t. Export sunflower meal prices also fell $5-10/t to $215-220/t, and Russia's April export duty on sunflower oil and meal is being cut.
Lower palm and sunflower oil values and cheaper meal reduce feed protein costs for buyers, while processors' thinner margins may slow crush and meal output.
