Wheat opened mixed on Monday after Friday's losses, with May CBOT closing at $5.28 1/4. Speculators increased their net short in Chicago wheat to 92,587 contracts, and Argus trimmed its Russian 2025/26 wheat crop estimate by 1.2 MMT to 80.3 MMT.
