Darling Downs growers report sorghum yields of up to 10 tonnes per hectare after a wet 2024-25 season. Sorghum bids rose more than A$30 a tonne in March to A$386 delivered to Brisbane, helped by stronger Chinese demand as trade tensions with the US escalated.
