CME feeder cattle futures settled higher on Friday, with August feeders up 0.6 cents at 300.375 cents per pound, supported by a strong cash cattle trade. Boxed beef Choice cuts rose $0.58 to $361.55 per cwt, and the USDA Cattle on Feed report showed fewer May cattle on feed than expected but more April cattle.
