Ukraine's 2025 barley crop is forecast at 5.1-5.5 million t, down on reduced area and yield expectations. USDA sees 2024/25 ending stocks at 591,000 t and exports possibly reaching 3.2 million t as domestic use falls sharply.
Lower Ukrainian output and higher expected exports tighten the global barley balance and support Black Sea feed barley prices. Stronger export availability, however, partly offsets the supply cut.
