Aguia Resources is advancing its Tres Estradas phosphate project in Brazil, with production set to start in Q1 2026 at 100,000 tonnes a year and a targeted ramp to 300,000 tonnes. The company now forecasts a sale price of $200-230 per tonne, up from $120-140 a year earlier, as global phosphate prices have risen as much as 70% in the past year.
Tight global phosphate supply and high prices raise the cost of DAP and other phosphate inputs for feed and crop producers, and support fertilizer price levels into 2026.
