The IGC forecasts global sunflower production rising 9% to 56.6 million tonnes in 2025/26, with EU and Russian crops increasing. Ukrainian sunflower prices rose to 26,500-27,000 UAH per ton as farmers held back sales over drought concerns in the south and east.
A larger global crop is bearish for sunflower meal over the new season, but Ukrainian drought worries are supporting near-term domestic prices.
