UkrAgroConsult analyst Svitlana Kupriyeva expects 2025/26 Ukrainian sunflower oil and meal exports to rise from last year despite drought and excess moisture cutting the crop. Heat reduced yields in the south and east, while wet weather in the north and west hurt grain quality.
Higher expected export volumes despite a smaller crop suggest the sunflower meal market stays adequately supplied, limiting upside in prices for feed buyers.
