USDA cut its 2025/26 Ukrainian sunflower seed forecast by 800,000 t to 12.7 million t. Sunflower oil output was lowered to 5.3 million t and meal to 5.1 million t.
USDA also trimmed Argentina's seed crop and raised Russia's.
A smaller Ukrainian crop reduces Black Sea supplies of sunflower oil and meal. The cut partly offsets the larger Russian crop, leaving global oilseed balances moderately tighter.
