Evonik upgraded logistics at its Antwerp methionine site during the September and October shutdown, adding an automated big-bag filling line and expanded storage. The company says global MetAMINO capacity now exceeds 700,000 metric tons.
The packaging upgrade is a logistics improvement that does not change methionine output, so it has little direct price effect beyond supporting supply reliability.
