Fastmarkets launched weekly ex-works Eastern Europe price assessments for category 3 poultry meal 65% and category 3 mixed meat and bone meal 50%. The company is also extending processed animal protein pricing to more regions and products, including bloodmeal and fishmeal.
The new benchmarks add price transparency for European rendered proteins, which may help feed buyers hedge and negotiate, but they do not by themselves move supply or prices.
