Sunflower oil prices in Ukraine have stabilized despite a prolonged decline in palm and soybean oil prices, with demand prices at $1,220-1,230/t for December delivery. Ukrainian sunseed purchase prices rose 200-300 UAH/t to 28,400-29,000 UAH/t as processors expect a smaller harvest.
Stable sunflower oil and firmer seed prices support the oilseed complex, while weakness in palm and soy oil caps broader vegoil upside. Tighter sunflower supply can also lift sunflower meal values for feed buyers.
