Purdue economist Michael Langemeier says dried distillers grains (DDGs) move with corn and soybean meal prices and have no futures market. He projects 2026 DDG prices of $145 to $155 per ton, which could raise livestock feed costs.
DDGs are a substitute for corn and soybean meal in rations, so a firmer DDG price range adds cost pressure for feed buyers in 2026.
