The U.S. Grains Council reports that U.S. Midwest wholesale ethanol prices rose 0.6% through Tuesday to 52.66 cents per liter after a 4.3% gain the prior week. FOB Houston and Brazilian Santos ethanol prices also moved higher in early trade.
Gulf-Santos spreads widened to a discount.
