Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Monday, snapping three sessions of gains after concerns over Indonesian output eased. GAPKI said there was no major near-term production impact from Sumatra floods, and Malaysian November palm product exports fell 19.7% month on month, according to Intertek.
The benchmark February contract closed down 0.51% at 4,093 ringgit a tonne.
Lower Malaysian export data and easing supply fears put downward pressure on palm oil prices. Soft export demand and steady output keep the market under pressure.
