The US has eased sanctions on three Belarusian potash companies, Belaruskali, BPC and Agrorozkvit, after Belarus freed 123 prisoners in a US-brokered deal. Belarusian potash remains under EU sanctions and is barred from exporting through Klaipeda.
Analysts expect little effect on global potash prices because EU restrictions still limit Belarusian exports, so the sanctions relief is unlikely to add meaningful supply to world markets.
