DTN's third-week-of-January retail survey shows most fertilizers slightly lower than a month earlier, with DAP at $843/ton, potash at $482/ton and anhydrous at $856/ton. Urea edged higher to $574/ton, up 17% year on year.
Petrobras also reported that two new Brazilian nitrogen plants in Sergipe and Bahia have started production.
Lower retail DAP and potash prices ease phosphate and potash input costs, while new Brazilian urea capacity adds supply that could restrain urea prices over time. Urea remains elevated at the retail level.
