USDA/AMS's weekly Milk Premiums report for February 26, 2026 says Central region milk output is trending higher and above last year. Eastern production rose 1.2% year over year in January, with strong Class I and Class IV demand and tight inventories.
Spot Class III milk prices ranged from $1 under to $2 over.
Rising milk supply in the Central and East regions is largely offset by firm processor demand, leaving milk prices and feed-ration economics roughly balanced for feed buyers.
