Soybeans were slightly lower on Thursday with front months down 1 to 3 cents, while soymeal fell $5.20 to $6.50 and soy oil rose. Weekly export sales showed 2.576 MMT of 2026/27 soybean sales, within trade expectations and 77.7% above the same week last year.
Strong export commitments support old-crop and new-crop soybean demand, but harvest pressure and weaker meal limit upside. Soymeal weakness feeds directly into lower meal costs for feed buyers.
