Mysteel expects China's M2609 soybean meal futures to trade around 2,950-3,050 yuan/tonne in the short term, with spot support seen at 2,750-2,800 yuan. Soybean clearance times at coastal ports have shortened, easing the supply shortage that had constrained crushers, and crushing volumes are rising.
Faster soybean clearance boosts crush and meal output, adding supply and pushing meal prices toward a floor. Lower prices improve feed cost competitiveness, which should limit further downside.
