USDA announced the April Class III milk price at $16.82 per cwt, up 66 cents from March and the highest since November 2025. The April Class IV price rose $1.28 to $20.22, and butter stocks rose in March but remained below year-ago levels.
Rising Class III and IV prices and firmer futures point to stronger dairy returns, while the butter stock build reflects ample milkfat supply.
