COCERAL raised its EU and UK soft wheat forecast to 143.7 million tonnes from 142.6 million in March, below last year's record 150.8 million. It cut the EU corn forecast by 3 million tonnes to 57.2 million tonnes, citing a 15% decline in EU corn acreage over nearly 10 years.

The lower EU corn forecast tightens feed corn supply and supports corn prices, while the slightly higher wheat crop keeps wheat supply comfortable.
