DTN's average spot price for domestic distillers dried grains rose $2 to $155 per ton for the week ended July 23, across 33 reporting locations. Cash corn and soybean meal prices also rose over the same week, and export DDGS quotes were mostly higher.
Firmer DDGS prices, with DDGS priced at a discount to soybean meal on a protein-cost basis, support demand for DDGS as a feed substitute and reflect the stronger corn and meal complex.
