Russian feed additive prices in the week of July 13 to 19 showed mixed moves, with most items strengthening but lysine and tryptophan falling. Average lysine HCL prices dropped 1.9% over the week, and threonine eased 0.1%.
Methionine rose 1.1% weekly but fell 11% over the month.
Continued lysine weakness in Russia points to cheaper amino acid inputs for compound feed producers there. The monthly methionine decline offsets the weekly gain, so the overall price trend is soft.
