The European Commission ordered registration of lysine imports from China, effective from 1 August 2026, under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1824. The registration allows retroactive collection of anti-dumping duties if the investigation justifies higher duties.
It covers lysine, its salts, solutions, sulphate and certain feed additives.
Importers face potential retroactive duties on Chinese lysine, which raises the landed cost risk for EU feed producers. This may firm EU lysine prices and encourage buyers to source elsewhere.
