Ukrainian purchase prices for new-crop sunflower seed fell by 500 to 1,000 UAH per ton, to 18,700 to 19,500 UAH per ton including VAT. Processors are avoiding large stock builds because they expect further declines.
Sunflower oil prices also fell in India and Russia.
Weak seed and oil prices and cautious crush buying point to lower sunflower complex values for the new season, with limited near-term support.
