The DTN average spot price for domestic DDG rose $9 to $194 per short ton for the week ended Sept. 24.
Ethanol plant fall maintenance and the lowest EIA plant output in four months pushed prices higher, while soybean meal also gained $1.10 per ton.
Lower ethanol output reduces DDG supply and supports higher prices for feed buyers. Stronger soybean meal values also lift the DDG price relative to protein alternatives.
