The ringgit closed higher against the US dollar at about 4.0555 on October 30 as traders reassessed the chance of a Fed rate hike. The Fed had held its rate at 3.75-4.00% on October 28, and the dollar index fell 0.32% to 101.710.
The ringgit was mixed against other currencies, weakening against the pound, euro and yen.
