Indonesia's CPO reference price for 1 to 15 April 2023 fell 1.44% to 898.29 USD per tonne. Based on that price, the CPO export fee was set at 74 USD per tonne and the levy at 95 USD per tonne.
Branded cooking oil packs of 25 kg or less were set at a zero export fee.
Lower reference prices reduce the export fee and levy that Indonesia applies to palm oil, which can make exports slightly more competitive. The change is small and mostly reflects the fall in prices.
After 513 past neutral policy events, Palm Oil moved a median 0.0% over 5 sessions (50% higher; middle half -1.6% to +1.4%), and -0.1% over 20.
